The HVC-40 Farm Plant Cultivation Container is a modular smart plant factory independently developed by Hangzhou Henvic Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. Built on a standard 40 ft shipping container, it integrates a multi-tier vertical hydroponic growing system, full-spectrum LED plant grow lights, an intelligent environmental control system and a remote IoT monitoring platform. It can be deployed rapidly on farms, in greenhouses and on the urban fringe, delivering stable, clean and efficient year-round production of leafy vegetables.

The container body adopts a high-insulation polyurethane sandwich panel structure that is sealed and clean. A solar photovoltaic power supply system is available as an option, making the unit green and energy-saving and freeing production from seasonal, regional and climatic constraints — an ideal choice for the modernization, standardization and intelligent upgrading of agricultural facilities.

IV. Vertical Cultivation System

Multi-tier vertical hydroponic growing racks are arranged along both sides of the container interior, using NFT nutrient film technique cultivation: the nutrient solution is delivered by a circulation pump to the growing channels on each tier, and the crop roots absorb water and nutrients from the shallow flowing nutrient film. Each tier is fitted with full-spectrum LED plant grow lights whose light quality, light intensity and photoperiod can all be programmed to suit the crop, ensuring healthy and rapid plant growth.

V. Intelligent Control System

  • Environmental monitoring: real-time data acquisition from multi-point sensors for temperature, humidity, light, CO2, EC, pH and nutrient solution level.
  • Automatic regulation: coordinated automatic operation of the air conditioner, fresh air system, humidifier/dehumidifier, supplemental lighting and water/fertilizer pumps.
  • Remote management: remote viewing, parameter setting and historical data query via mobile app or PC.
  • Intelligent alerts: automatic push notifications for out-of-range parameters, equipment faults, power failures and other abnormalities.
  • Data management: growing environment data is automatically recorded and archived, supporting traceability and optimization analysis of the cultivation process.

VI. Applicable Crops

  • Leafy vegetables: lettuce, leaf lettuce, spinach, celery, bok choy, kale and more.
  • Specialty leafy greens: ice plant, arugula, basil, mint and other aromatic leafy vegetables.
